Cultural Road Trip from Kigali to Musanze
I love to see how the places we’ve visited have changed over time. After 32 years away, we were struck by the intersection of modern and traditional in Musanze (formerly Ruhengeri). You just don't see a motorcyclist delivering a bunch of chickens everywhere you go.
I'm so proud of how the country has developed, and I know Dian Fossey would be too. Rwanda protects its mountain gorillas and is in the top ten countries for people's safety and security. That's a huge accomplishment.
